Bishop Mark Visited St. Mary’s Church on October 1st-October 4th
Thank you to Denise and Perry Jacobs who donated the use of their cabin on lake Mary. It was very peaceful and gave both the Bishop and Sub deacon James a chance to “Recharge their batteries”.
Bishop Mark presided at vespers each day , met with the Parish council and parishioners, and presided at the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy. He was very pleased with the progress of the soccer complex. The parish will be hosting the spring deanery meeting the last week of May 2010.

This was because of their outstanding and exemplary efforts working with the community and the parishioners to help make the soccer complex a reality. Both of them have spent countless hours making this dream for the community come true.

Fr Mark was elevated to the status of Archpriest during the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy by Bishop Mark.
New Pews
On October 14th, New pews were purchased by the parish with the help of donations by George Katonias and Louis Cini. They are fabulous. They are solid oak. New chandeliers were also obtained and will be a wonderful addition to our worship space, thanks to all who have helped. The Chandeliers should be installed by the end of November
